There will be 6 days (Sunday - Friday) of sailing in total. This is a sailing trip tailored for travelers who would like to spend there holidays on a yacht, swim in crystal clear waters, exploring the beautiful islands while practicing yoga and feel free and relaxed. Please be informed that comfort and space are limited on board.
Important Retreat Information
The trip starts on Sunday early in the morning from Alimos Marina in Athens, going onboard as of 8 am o’clock on Sunday morning. For the rest of the days, you will spend overnight in a Single en suite hotel room on each island.
Please note that space and amenities onboard are limited, so please pack lightly and do not bring big hardcover suitcases. The boat also hosts a fully equipped kitchen, electricity, and warm showers. For the days on the boat, you will not need much more than your swimwear, sunscreen, and sunglasses. Don’t forget to bring one warm jumper and a waterproof jacket as the evenings can feel chilly after a warm day on the water.
Before departure, you will hit the supermarkets together to stock up on ingredients for breakfast and lunches during sailing. In the evenings, you will always overnight in harbour where you can have dinner at the local tavernas and fill up your supplies again if necessary. The cost of food is relatively cheap in Greece, for a week you, should plan around 200 for all your meals, and drinks.
As an experienced skipper, Alt Travel will take care to not take any risks on sailing days so the final itinerary depends on wind force and direction. They will also be spending time in each port discovering the island by scooter, on foot, or enjoying a beach.
However if you feel uncomfortable during the trip please inform them. They will always carry some seasickness medicine with them to help the passengers. Please don’t hesitate to send an inquiry if you need any additional information. Alt Travel is looking forward to welcoming you on board.
Itinerary
Day 1: Sunday
Morning breakfast ready to sail at 09:30. You will sail for about 2 hours to the 1st island Aegina OR Agistri depending on the availability of the mooring space. Lunch onboard and then Evening Yoga. Dinner at local traditional tavern in any chosen stop over port in Aegina island and/or Megalochori or Skala in Agistri island.
Day 2: Monday
Morning Breakfast onboard after your yoga session. Sail for 2-3h to the Ancient Epidaurus port. Lunch onboard and swimming before arriving to the port. You can visit the Ancient Epidaurus theater well known for its marvelous acoustic.Dinner at a local tavern close to the port.
Day 3: Tuesday
Morning breakfast & morning yoga session. Sailing to Poros island arpx 4h. Stop Over for swimming at the magnificent Sunken City of Ancient Epidaurus brunch & lunch time onboard before entrance at the port of Poros. Evening Yoga Session. Dinner at next to the boat local tavern.
Day 4: Wednesday
Morning breakfast & morning yoga session. Sailing to Ermioni port for a total sailing time of 4h. Stop over for swimming in Spathi Bay. Brunch & lunch time onboard before entrance the port of Ermioni. Evening Yoga Session.
Day 5: Thuursday
Morning breakfast & morning yoga session. Sailing to Mandraki bay in Hydra. Stop over for swimming in Dokos island. Brunch & lunch time onboard before entrance the Mandraki bay in Hydra. Evening Yoga Session. Dinner at a Main town Tavern.
Day 6: Friday
Breakfast and your last morning yoga session.You will Sail to Moni islet (next to Aegina) witch is a protected natural park where you will meet its unique inhabitants peacocks and deer. Your last swimming in the crystal clear waters of Moni island. Brunch & lunch time onboard before your 4 hours trip back to Alimos marina. You will be back to Alimos Marina around 19 30. You will have plenty of time to prepare your disembarkation.

Marianna
Marianna's journey with yoga began in her childhood, as she observed her mother's practices. A transformative trip to India ignited her passion for the path, leading her to embrace yoga and meditation wholeheartedly. After completing her studies in Nutrition, she dedicate to the yoga path. Marianna has since spent 13 years practicing and teaching yoga, owning a successful yoga studio for few years. She has organized retreats and contributed as a teacher in yoga teacher trainings, continually sharing the endless benefits and gifts of yoga with others.she always loves to be a student.

SARONIC GULF is the most popular destination for weekly sailing trips with beautiful islands interesting ancient monuments and crystal clear waters. You will spend your nights in a single en-suite hotel room. During the sailing trips on board, there is available space for your rest and WC with a shower and an outside shower.
On board there is a fully equipped kitchen, hot and cold water, and an electric refrigerator. The boat is fully equipped and fully insured for chartering.
