How do I pay for my retreat:

We believe you should have greater control of your funds, so you only spend the minimum deposit in order to secure your spot. Once your spot is secured you receive a detailed email invoice with a clear description of what you have paid for, what is included in your retreat, and what you need to do next. Your host will contact you directly as well. The host will give you further details about your trip, when to settle the remaining payment, any special conditions and anything you need to be aware of prior to your arrival. OK, nice! So what is your cancellation policy?

You should read our cancellation policies for more detail but in a nutshell any inhouse legitimate cancellation works on a refund of 100% if 30+ days before your trip, 40% if the cancellation is 14 – 29 days prior to retreat, 10% if between 7-13 days prior to retreat and 0% if between 0-6days prior to start.


I need to cancel my booking:

Access the specific listing on your profile and press cancel. As soon as you have cancelled your retreat email us at support@bookyogaliferetreats.com telling us the cancellation details and we will coordinate further on how to proceed next.


OK, I’ve booked my retreat. Now what?

Once you have booked your retreat (amazing) you will receive our email that lets you know all the important details. Watch out for the email titled support@bookyogaliferetreats.com. This should pretty much arrive straight away, if you don’t receive it, first check you have inputted the right contact details, wait for 10minutes (it may be on its way) then check those pesky spam folders, just in case! If nothing has arrived email us directly using the email title “Booking summary not received”.
Your booking summary will outline all the details of your upcoming retreat. Check, all your personal details are correct, especially if a travel VISA is involved. Check the summary for all the retreat details, ie 200h yoga teacher training, accommodation details, payment details, arrival date, the host details and any other specific host requests or arrival instructions.


I’m not getting an answer from my host:

We try to ensure all our hosts respond within 24h to all enquiries. The vast majority do but if you haven’t heard from your host in 24h emails us on support@bookyogaliferetreats.com and we will follow up with them.


COVID 19 – What is happening?

That’s a tough one! Take time to understand what is happening in the country that you want to travel to. Understand the entry requirements and the vaccination status. The host listing will have a COVID-19 section for your information but things are changing so fast make sure you cross check travel requirements and only book once you know if you can enter the country. Should I get travel or health insurance:

Well, how long is a piece of string! The short answer is yes insurance is recommended but it’s a personal choice unless it’s a condition of entry into the country. Ask your host if this is a must and what do they think. Remember this is also a financial decision that you need to consider carefully because unfortunately you don’t need insurance until you need it and then you really need it! It’s a tough one, so we say, if you have a choice think about it carefully!
