Program
You will be able to delve deeply into yoga and meditation, eat delicious and healthy food, indulge yourself with sunshine, make new friends, and return home feeling replenished in your soul and body.
You will benefit from the combination of sunshine, yoga, meditation, and good food to help you achieve your goals. Learn about and experience deep relaxation and rest. See it as an integral part of practice. You will also learn how to soften the practice and find subtle aspects, touching a deep sense of calm and inner peace.
During this week, you will pay extra attention to Ashtanga primary series and relaxation in the evenings, incorporating extra time for this throughout the practice. You will also look at how the entire practice can and should have a restorative effect.
During the full week, you will get to work with one of the experienced teachers. All of the teachers are fully certified and have years of experiences.
The week consists of the following:
- Morning pranayama
- Daily asana class (Ashtanga style)
- Restorative asana practice in the afternoon - a relaxing way to finish the day
- Meditation
Although each week has all of the above-listed offerings, there is a specific focus for each retreat, and they are taught by a particular teacher who will share their individual expertise and knowledge.
Daily schedule
- Morning classes: 2 hours to 2.5 hours of Ashtanga yoga practice (If students are familiar enough with Ashtanga led class, one day out of the eight days will be a led class. Otherwise, all classes will be a Mysore practice.)
- Afternoon class: 1 hour to 1.5 hours of Ashtanga workshop / studying, 30 minutes of relaxation / meditation
- Evening class: 1 hour of stretching, 15 minutes of relaxation
